Your Essential Pre- and Post-Session Guide
To achieve the best results from your internal purification, the journey begins before you step into our sanctuary and continues long after you leave. By following these nurse-led protocols, you ensure your body is perfectly primed for release and restoration.
The Pre-Session Protocol: Priming for Release
If this is your first session and you are using it as an educational experience, it is often best to do nothing beforehand to allow us to see your body’s natural baseline. However, if you are looking to maximise the "7 Rs" of restoration, follow these guidelines:
Hydration is Key: Increase your intake of liquids and fresh vegetable juices in the 48 hours leading up to your appointment to help hydrate the bowel wall.
Wholesome Nutrition: Start being healthy right now! Focus on eating clean, whole foods and generally "grooming" your body for a successful elimination.
The 2-Hour Fast: On the day of your treatment, we recommend eating light meals and stopping all food intake 1.5 to 2 hours before your session.
Comfortable Attire: Wear loose, comfortable clothing as you would for any restorative bodywork.

The Aftercare Instructions: Supporting the Reset
After a session, your system has been deeply rehydrated, and waste has been removed. To support the "Repair and Replace" phases of your recovery, adhere to the following:
The 48-Hour Alcohol Rule: Strictly avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours following your treatment.
Gentle Movement & Rest: As a general rule, relax, take it easy, and avoid strenuous physical activities for the remainder of the day.
Post-Treatment Nutrition: Focus on eating light. Your nutrients should primarily come from vegetables, fruits, juices, and light proteins.
Foods to Avoid: Steer clear of spicy or very rich foods for at least the next couple of days to prevent irritating the newly hydrated bowel wall.

A Note on Weight Loss and Vitality
While many clients feel significantly lighter—and indeed, you will lose physical waste—colon hydrotherapy is a tool for health, not a "magic pill" for weight loss. Some people lose more, some less, and some may even absorb water if they were previously dehydrated. The only proven way to lose weight is to move your body and eat good quality food in reasonable amounts. Our sessions provide the "push in the right direction" to make those healthy habits easier to maintain.
